Americana Cavalcade seems set to give House Concert Hub regular Charlie Roth a well deserved bigger platform, both as a songster on the Hog Roast Stage and fronting a great band on the main stage. Fitting for Rancher and Horse breeder Charlie to be heading up this Western Family fun day as part of Perth Gold Cup weekend. The event is set to attract 2,000 Scottish Country Music fans, to Perth, the traditional beating heart of Scottish Country Music in the heart of the country.
The thriving Perth Country music scene will be represented by The Red Pine Timber Company, The New Madrids and Roberto Cassani & the Tickety-two, featuring the best of emerging Scottish alt country from around the country The David Latto Band, The Ballachulish Hellhounds with Barberaville Records recording artists Davy Cowan, Davy Fleming and from Sweden John Mitchell and Sofie Jonsson, with Irish Country singer broadcaster Mary K Burk + tributes toJohnny and June Cash from the Highland's Federals, and the whole shooting match crowned by Vanity Fare's, acclaimed Notorious Byrd Brothers tribute to seminal Country Rock band The Bryds.
Add western riding displays and western re-enactment's from the Northern Rough Riders and we have a day not to be missed, and the highlight of what looks like Charlie Roth's best tour to date.
