May The Circle Be Unbroken.

Here are some hints and tips on maintaining and getting the best out of the site.

The featured members are all hosts and you can find some non European ones by clicking links. Please invite your mailing list, any house concerts, songwriters, open mic clubs and fans, infact any one you think could add to this community, particularly that friend with the big old front room who loves live music. The best way to find a house concert is to ask your mailing list if anyone will do one for you, we can help get them started together, for the comon good, and you'll always have a home house concert that will have you back

Please add our badges to your web site, and http://www.houseconcert.eu to any communications you think might be helpful.

The idea is we all work together to grow the scene to the point where House Concerts really makes a difference, you can use the invite tab to invite your mailing list, who knows who amongst them would do a house concert for you, I'll help get them started. All I ask is that if you get a gig from this site you donate something from that gig to its upkeep.

This is how to keep this house concert hub rolling, we work together to establish more places to play which in turn benifits the musician, people donate money to hear your music you then donate a part of that so we can continue to develope more places to play and help all the hostes get more audiences.

Its a circle that relys on you for it to remain unbroken

Thanks to those who already have payed back to the hub, I'm trilled with the amount of good work that is happening all around this site and delighted to help in any way possible.

We are averaging 140 hits a day as of October after only 8 months of the site being operational, from all around the world and today 300 people used the site. The forums including this one are busy with topics and groups are increasingly active, feel free to contribute , we have "Face Book" "Myspace" and "Youtube" pages, infact even our own growing webzine "Flyin Shoes" see side bar links, please check out reviews and consider submitting your own reviews and articles, and let me know if you would like a review for a new release.

I look forward to working with you on this.

Trip to Hamburg Kiel in Mid June

OK, I have two dates, one in Kiel on the 15th of June, the other in Hamburg on the 21st of June.  That's great, but it isn't enough to pay for the trip, so I need some more house concerts.  I don't mind travelling and sleeping on sofas, and I really want to make this trip, so help me out, why dontcha!  Contact me here or at jacksmith@smilingjacksmith.com Thanks

PRESS RELEASE: http://timholehouse.com/contact-2/
The archetypal image of a bluesman, outcast from proper society and stalked by personal demons. The defining characteristic of Delta blues is instrumentation and an emphasis on rhythm and "bottleneck" slide. When Holehouse arrived in a new town, he would play for tips on street corners or in front of the local barbershop or a restaurant. Holehouse also had an uncanny ability to establish a rapport with his audience - in every town in which he stopped, Holehouse would establish ties to the local community that would serve him well when he passed through again a month or a year later. Ok these things where written about Delta Blues Musicians of the 1920's and 1930's but sums up what i am trying to do now. I travel I play music for music's sake. It has its roots in the delta blues with my own personal twist on it. I live by my rules and those rules are best summed up by something a friend of mine from Winnipeg told me once. Creativity, Adventure and People. Things I will not do Appear in my own music videos! Have my name or face on a shirt! Sell my soul! I enjoy playing music, if you want me to come to your town play get in touch. Let the good times roll!

 Press Release: http://timholehouse.com/timothy-c-holehouse/
Timothy C Holehouse is the alter ego of Tim Holehouse the folk/ blues musician; this is his more leftfield material ranging from noise collages to ambient guitar sound tracks. In mid 2008 Tim Holehouse decided that, his two styles of writing where falling into two very separate camps of music and decided to split himself up, thus Timothy C Holehouse was born! This is an entirely seperate musical project to Tim Holehouses music
and deals in a more tonal minimal area of the music world looking at sonics, sounds and the great beyond.

Kind regards

Tim/Timothy C Holehouse

Hello Europe! My name is Dylan Connor. I am a singer songwriter in the spirit of Elvis Costello, Ben Folds, Morrissey, Elliott Smith, and Billy Bragg. I am releasing my third full length record on April 10 titled Primitive Times. To celebrate the release I am flying to Europe from the US to do a tour from April 6-15. I would love to make house concerts a part of the tour. Please check out my profile page, listen to my music, and let me know if you are interested in having me!
