The European House Concert Hub

The place for concert hosts, guests and artists to network

Listen again to the great Ralph McLean chatting to Hub founder Rob Ellen on BBC Radio Ulster about his quest to encourage concerts in peoples own homes, when the Medicine Show toured Ireland this year with Chuck Hawthorne and Libby Koch (featuring interview and session with them too) 35 minutes into the show.(click picture)

How best to use the hub (Instructions)

Rob Ellen; Publicist, Presenter, Promoter and founder of The European House Concert Hub has designed this site to assist artists and hosts to network together to support Independent Musicians.

Our aim on The Hub is to cultivate the idea of concerts being hosted in intimate venues such as sitting rooms.

We get over 14,000 unique visits to this site every month and currently have around 150 hosts. Every single person on your mailing list or facebook and twitter pages is a potential host. We encourage artists to set up a page on The Hub and then share it to their social media sites.

Artists and hosts can promote their dates here and when an event is posted it will appear on the front page of The Hub and will also appear on our sister site www.flyinshoesreview.eu which is also used by music bloggers and podcasters. This is an excellent promo tool for you to utilise.

Instructions for signing up to both sites can be found on their front pages. If you’d like some assistance with setting everything up then please send me an email and I will help you to get started and guide you through the process. If you’re already up and running then post your events and I’ll feature them on the site.

The Hub is searchable by town, area and country. Current events can be found on the front page or by using the search facility. Email to connect with artists and hosts alike. We are all very friendly here and the idea is that we support each other to find an artist or a host in the area that you are seeking. You can also email me or use the pop up chat link at the bottom of the page and I will help in any way I can. This is all completely FREE to use and is there to keep you connected with your community. We run The Hub on traditional principles and all we ask is that if you get a gig through this then please make a donation to assist with the upkeep of the site. There is a PayPal button on the front page and we rely greatly on your generosity.

We also offer excellent promotion packages at various levels to cover all your marketing needs. Information on this can be found at – www.medicineshowpromo.co.uk

I also host a weekly radio show called ‘The Health & Happiness Hour’ with Rob Ellen. I will play content for you and plug your events on this show.

It broadcasts weekly on 2 Lochs Radio Gairloch, Loch Broom FM in Ullapool up here in the Highlands of Scotland and across Glasgow on Sunny Govan Radio and Celtic Music Radio. The show can also be found on www.ukcountryradio.com and in Kent on Sheppy FM.

Please feel free to contact me if you require any further information. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Rob Ellen.
