AFC Bookings

AFC Bookings is an exciting new agency attached to the transglobal phenomenon that is the Artistic Freedom Collective.

The agency was set up in September 2009 by AFC member Stoo Nicol, who has a background as a musician and is a presenter on the collectives very own internet radio station AFC radio. Through the close ties with the AFC the agency has put together an ever growing roster of uniquely talented artists and bands.

We have a large roster of great bands who would love to get on the house concert scene, you can check them at www.bookings.afcollective.com.

All the best,

Stoo

Hi AFC,

We're a roots band (trio: banjo, guitar, upright bass, all sing) from Canada on our debut tour of Europe this May.  We'll be playing House Concerts (we host them ourselves on Vancouver Island at home) and other gigs.

Our music: From gorgeous vocal harmonies to foot-stomping fun, Puzzleroot includes slide banjo and country picking at its best!

We're releasing our 2nd CD next month.

Check out our site for music and more: http://www.puzzleroot.com/
or find our EPKs at:

Warm wishes,
Marian

Hi,

Hope you’re having a great day. Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you a little about Roosevelt Bandwagon:

Roosevelt Bandwagon's personnel currently reside in London, UK. The band comprises a fluid line-up of extremely experienced musicians who have been writing, recording and touring internationally in various guises for many years. The ethos is to play the music that comes most naturally to its members with absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the trends, fashions and formulae of the commercial music industry.

Having played house concerts many times in the States in years gone by we love the idea of the House Concert Hub – it is certainly more focused than other social networking sites and far more friendly!!!

We’re currently doing sessions for a full length album which should be ready by May of this year. In the mean time, we have put out the ‘Train Roll On’ EP. We have a limited edition of free pressings which we’re mailing out to those people who request it – hurry and drop us a line before we run out! Tracks can also be heard on our home page/ visit us on myspace: www.myspace.com/rooseveltbandwagon where you can download the tracks for free.

Do please drop us a line – we’d love to hear your thoughts on our music/ have you as a friend.

Best wishes & have a great weekend.
