About Me
Adriana's music is a curious slant on the Americana and Singer/Songwriter genres, going beyond the usual with her unique, soaring vocals and evocative lyrics. She has worked this style into a diverse range of songs, from introspective to all out rock n' roll... Her sound has proved such a success that she is now regarded as one of the best talents in the independent Scottish music scene.

Blending Americana, folk and rock styles, Adriana made headlines in the summer when T in the Park boss Geoff Ellis handpicked her to support Sheryl Crow in the American superstar's only UK headline date of her tour.

Her live performances are not quickly forgotten and have so far taken her to Seattle, New York, Italy, frequent dates in London and across Scotland. Other artists she has performed with include Paolo Nutini, Oh Susanna!, Tracy Bonham, Ryan Bingham, Jack Savoretti, Kim Richey and Dar Williams.

Genre-defying singer and songwriter Adriana Spina releases her long-awaited debut album Never Coming Home on 20th June 2011.

Distributed nationwide by Proper Music Distribution, Never Coming Home showcases Adriana’s captivating voice and distinctive song-writing style. Having earned her stripes on the live circuit over recent years, sharing stages with the likes of Sheryl Crow and Paolo Nutini, Adriana is delighted to release her first collection of songs on her own label, Ragged Road. She says, “My band and I worked long and hard on making Never Coming Home and we’re so pleased to see it finally making it onto the shelves.”

Never Coming Home features guest performances from legends of the Scottish music scene Donald Shaw (Capercaillie) and David Scott (Pearlfishers), and was the last full-length recording to be made at Glasgow’s legendary Park Lane Studios.

Adriana and her band will launch Never Coming Home on 18th June at Stereo in Glasgow, with the support of The Fallen Angels Club (Please let me know if you would like to cover this event). Further dates are to be announced in the coming weeks Adriana is available for interview and Radio Sessions prior to and on the day of all engagements.

Hope you’re having a great day. Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you a little about Roosevelt Bandwagon:

Roosevelt Bandwagon's personnel currently reside in London, UK. The band comprises a fluid line-up of extremely experienced musicians who have been writing, recording and touring internationally in various guises for many years. The ethos is to play the music that comes most naturally to its members with absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the trends, fashions and formulae of the commercial music industry.

Having played house concerts many times in the States in years gone by we love the idea of the House Concert Hub – it is certainly more focused than other social networking sites and far more friendly!!!

We’re currently doing sessions for a full length album which should be ready by May of this year. In the mean time, we have put out the ‘Train Roll On’ EP. We have a limited edition of free pressings which we’re mailing out to those people who request it – hurry and drop us a line before we run out! Tracks can also be heard on our home page/ visit us on myspace: www.myspace.com/rooseveltbandwagon where you can download the tracks for free.
