Hello Carley!  I'll be in your area in August when I come through for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  Wondering if you'd like to host a show for me August 5, 6 or 7?  I'm a soul/r&b artist from Nashville, TN and I'll be passing through with an acoustic trio (drums, upright bass and keys)  Check out my music and let me know!  Thanks :)

"Her on-stage ability to control the room is evident by her captive audience. It’s one thing to be a songwriter and another to be a performer. Heidi Burson is both.  Led by Burson's commanding and soulful voice - one with a range that rivals Jill Scott and Adele...The sound is massive; a rich musicality practically oozes off the record.- Kevin Carr with Behind The Set List.

„Lyrics like a punch in the gut, painfully reminding you of your own wounds“. (Christian Elsrodt / Folker! Magazine)

Kent Nielsen is Danish but living in Lübeck (North Germany). He’s got a history as an author, percussionist, shoe shop clerk, record label guy, mail order honcho, night porter and ukulele player a. o.
But there’s one thing he’s been doing for ages – and that’s singing.
He just completed an old project – his first „solo album“. Roughly half of the roots rock colored Songs were written together with Stefan Kletetzka (DEEP RIVER), some are brand new while a couple Dates back to Kent and Stefan’s time in ONE BAR TOWN. Four covers were added, one by JOHN HARTFORD and another three originally written by GLEN CAMPBELL, EDDIE & THE HOT RODS and C.V. JØRGENSEN featuring Kent solo on the ukulele. Dear Carley: I See Hawks In L.A. are releasing two records in May: our own and an EP collaboration with the Good Intentions which turned out quite well. We plan on touring UK/Ireland this summer.

I know it's a bit of short notice for you (our agent Bob Butler of Grapevine agency has sadly passed away), but if you have a slot for us we'd love to play one of your concerts. Our tour window is mid-July through mid-August, though we could head over earlier if that's when most of the shows are happening.

We've done 3 or 4 tours of UK/Ireland, have been in the Euro Americana chart top ten 3 times, and have great representation for press/radio in Geraint of G Promo PR. He got us great press and BBC appearances last time and will be invaluable in promoting live shows. I'll be happy to send you our bio with listening links, and sneak preview of our forthcoming CDs. thanks, hope you are great, Paul lacques@sonic.net www.iseehawks.com

Hi Carley,

I hope this finds you well.

My name is Matt Wadsworth and I play the lute all over the world.
I've done about 20 house concerts over the last few years, and find that it is the best environment to experience the magic and intimacy of the lute.
It is also how people would have heard the instrument in the 17th and 18th centuries.

At many of the house concert venues I play, almost nobody has ever been to a lute concert before. They absolutely love it, and get to experience something new as well.

You can hear/watch some of my live performances here:

You can also find me on Spotify and iTunes as well.

I'd absolutely love to come and do a house concert for you!

Do get in touch if you think  we could make something work, and thanks for reading.

All best wishes

Matt
