US based singer Coconi smashes into the UK with her catchy, highly addictive debut single ‘‘Get Your Light Up’’ released on April 27th and taken from her album entitled ‘‘Venusian Butterfly’’ released in the UK May 11th on Coconi Music. ‘‘Get Your Light Up’’ has already been played on Radio 2 Dermot O Leary's and BBC London Gary Crowley.
"Get your light up" achieved critical acclaim globally reaching number one on the “Pod Music Countdown”, a highly influential music podcast reaching audiences of over 200,000 worldwide.
Having been compared musically to the highly energetic energy of No Doubt meets the rockier Evanescence with a pinch of Bjork in the vocals, it is no wonder Coconi has captured large audiences whilst performing alongside the likes of Natasha Bedingfield, PM Dawn and the legendary James Taylor Quartet, wowing audiences to her highly seductive tunes bursting with power. Also toured round U.S. doing acoustic house concerts.

Thank you so much for the nice comment. It sounds like things are really progressing for you quickly. We'll be seeing your name in lights soon! I would love to perform at your open mic as a featured artist when I am there, thank you for the invitation! To answer your question about how far along in the process I am...well, it is different ever since I decided not to go the commercial route. I have released 2 albums independently and am recording 2 right now, one of which will be released in February. I do all of my promotion, booking, publicity etc. myself. I am looking for a good independent label that will fit my style and help out with all that goes along with full time touring etc. I plan to help out other artists too when I have reached my goals...it's too much to bring anyone else on board right now until I can get myself established!
