The European House Concert Hub

The place for concert hosts, guests and artists to network

Listen again to the great Ralph McLean chatting to Hub founder Rob Ellen on BBC Radio Ulster about his quest to encourage concerts in peoples own homes, when the Medicine Show toured Ireland this year with Chuck Hawthorne and Libby Koch (featuring interview and session with them too) 35 minutes into the show.(click picture)

About Me
Debut album Adventures In Narcissism out 22 November!

Blending influences ranging from Sean-nÓs storytelling to starkly confessional acoustics, Edelle’s music features a spellbinding mix of heart-tugging melodies, powerfully brooding lyrics and haunting vocals.
While she labels her own work ‘misery porn’ – referring to her songs’ often forlorn subjects and desolate moods – Edelle’s material spans everything from folk-inflected autumnal guitar ballads to upbeat acoustic pop and rousing a capella trad.

Originally from County Monaghan in the Republic of Ireland, Edelle (36) now lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Starting out as a Sean-nÓs performer as a child, over the course of two decades Edelle has repeatedly received province- and country-wide Irish traditional and folk awards.
After relocating to Belfast she spent several years in Northern Irish country-rockers Jackson Cage and is about to release her debut album, Adventures In Narcissism, the culmination of five years' work.

What the critics say:

'Get along to see this wonderful singer songwriter - Marie Louise Muir, BBC

'A moment for hairs to stand on the back of your neck' - Michelle Harris, Folk and Tumble

'A musicians' musician. Ships Will Sail is the standout track of the year!' - Stephen Dunwoody, Spectator Newspapers
