Reviews

The Sunday Express (five stars) ***** "This should launch a new star into the charts. ''

The Herald (four stars) **** ''O'Connor has one of the best voices heard in some time, and a set of fine songs to show it
off…''

The List (four stars) **** "There is an unmistakable modern twist to her music, and she flits effortlessly between, husky poppiness to soulful stripped down and spine tingling."

Jeremy Vine (BBC Radio 2) ''Fresh, self-assured and original - Esther's music just makes you happy to be alive. What a great talent.''

Classic Rock Magazine "I can't stop playing Making Me Clean, a plaintive yet powerfully sung tune with a bluesy framework and plenty of commercial potential. Miss O'Connor's vocal technique seems as fiery and precocious as her red hair."

Blues Matters Magazine “sparkles and shines throughout.”

Esther O’Connor; Biog

Recently Esther released her second album 'Right Here' in the UK on her own record label to outstanding critical acclaim including among others an unreserved 5 stars in the Sunday Express and support on BBC Radio 2 and on regional radio nationwide.

Hi Esther - long time!

Hope all is very well with you and that we can do some music business soon ;-)

I have a pub in Ashton-Under-Lyne (Gtr Manchester, OL6 6HX) and I'm starting a House Concert Hub here. Would love to have you down to play if you are in the area or feel you can use a gig here as a base for a mini tour?!

Nice to see yer wee face again... I still remember the mirror image Moon guitars flashing at the gig in de.bees, Winsford - how long ago?

Anyhow, let me know if you fancy the gig ;-)

Hi Esther, I'm that nutter in Wales that runs PheonixRadio.Net and it tales up a lot of time and effort but I get to meet nice people like you! (If only virtually thus far!) Are you looking for another concert in Wales, or an artist? I might be able to oil some wheels,...

Not quite sure how I ended up with 'host' status...........thought I'd rejected that for 'just visiting'. Haha!..........have to say that if you all end up back at our place, the audience will have to stand on each others shoulders, and the band will only have enough room to play one at a time................which could mean that a single track may take half an hour, and lose something of its originally intended sound. The plus side is that if anyone faints, they'll still be standing when they eventually come round...........and it won't be far to the bar or the loo......haha. The thought's made me laugh out loud. Thanks Esther............don't really know you but I think I'd like you dude.

Billy Kemp seeking UK House Concert Dates for May 2019

Hey UK Friends, Billy Kemp here. I am planning a new tour of the UK for May of 2019. I had a great tour in October and November 2017.  For those of you that don't know me,  I’ve been playing guitar for forty-five years and also play the banjo, bass, harmonica, piano and anything you can get a sound out of. I live near Nashville, Tennessee where I have hung my hat infrequently, since I spend so much of my time on the road. I average five or six tours annually, which take me all over the United…See More
