Evelina De Lain was born with creativity and performance in her soul.
Originally from The Ukraine, the daughter of a piano teacher and film director, the word "natural" and "prodigy" didn't even start to describe her remarkable abilities on the piano by age four. From the moment Evelina's fingers touched the ivory keys of her first piano, a decision was made to pursue a life of excellence in classical and jazz music!

Last year, Evelina wrote, performed, produced, arranged and released her debut solo album, "The Girl With the Flaxen Hair. Continued..." which features her original contemporary classical, neoimpressionistic and jazz compositions. A critically described "blonde bombshell" Evelina delivers enveloping and engrossing pieces that make time both fly by and stand still in the same moment. Showcasing her versatility, range, and technically supurb playing, compositions like "Trip to Paris" and "Circus of Life" have become requested standards at her shows, having caught the attention of many top audience members, including the legendary Tony Bennett, His Royal Majesty Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Jermaine Jackson, Bobby McFerrin and others.

Evelina's composition skills and musical aspirations are constantly evolving and reaching new heights. In the summer of 2010, she has published her first book filled with intermediate and advanced pieces for students and music lovers, to be performed by professional and amateur players and used as part of curriculums for conservatories, university music programs, etc., to add to her list of accomplishments that already include multiple degrees (in classical music, concert performance, music education), being being asked to lead lectures and master classes for faculties of PRS and British music colleges and specialist schools and also branching out into composing movie scores by writing and performing her first the score to a short independent film "Into the Sunshine".

Currently, Evenlina makes her home in London where she can be seen in residence at some of the top venues in the city such as The Dorchester and The Ritz, as well as performing at the famous Ronnie Scott's and The 606 Club. She will be embarking on a tour in support of her album in late 2010/early 2011. For more information on Evelina De Lain, visit: www.evelinadelain.com and www.myspace.com/evelinadelain
