- Organiser of a small Folk Club for about 40 years. Qualified in Chemistry and Theatre Arts. Guitarist/Singer (Folk and Music Hall material) - not brilliant! Chairman of the International Concertina Association - sometime actor/director and househusband.
Stortfolk is a small, acoustic music club with a heavy leaning towards Folk music (whatever that is!!) - we are like a house concert venue on a weekly basis - a small hall, bar (cheap prices) a £5.50 entrance price (less some nights and for the "unwaged") - and we'll pay 80% of the door money to any artist willing to play! Folkie acoustic/ blues - traditional or contempory! We book well ahead - so biogs and samples are useful!
