Hi Kim, thank you kindly, for adding me as a friend.

May I also say, in poor inadequate words ..... the discovery and absorption of such intrinsically beautiful music , emanating from such a beautiful lady, seems like a stroke of incredible luck, for me.

How great it would be to see & hear you make these sounds LIVE and in person! Maybe if you come over our way, this could (will) happen?

My ancient seaside home is yours as long as you want to play here.

Meanwhile Kim, can you please continue to be creatively serenely musically perfect ? New Fan Cap'n Geoff humbly requests.

Now, I am off out to lie prone in the Spring machair grass and watch the new moon fall out of our clear West Scottish Island skies, for and hour or two. She is setting over the Mull of Kintyre the noo.

Sparks & flames from the driftwood barbecue are dying out.
Should make things a little safer.
Embers floating along & landing on my hair at star-gazing time have caused havoc before.

A B&O hi-fi speaker will follow me, tethered to its master amp, into this tussocky muse; playing Kim McLean - nestled alongside my head in the foreshore and contemplative country orbit..

Have not been this much affected by newly discovered music for a long long time.

Stay well and happy Kim.

Cap'n Geoff.

JOE AND ROSE LEE MAPHIS 'COLD HEART OF STEEL' (media)

The career of Joe and Rose Lee Maphis was always overshadowed by Joe Maphis’ status as a stylish guitarist (known as "The King Of The Strings") and one of quite simply the innovator of country music. Joe Maphis and his customised twin neck Mosrite guitar were utilised behind such greats as Rose Maddox, Rick Nelson

Linda McRae: Carve it to the Heart (media)
