About Me
....................................................................................................................................

I'm a musician, though not touring at the moment. I'm here more to support the development of a house concert network in the UK.

While in the USA last year, I hooked up with the house concert circuit in the western States and met lots of great people in the folk/acoustic community. I'd really like to see something similar develop in this country. And this looks like a great place to start.

Incidentally, my band 'Stryngs' is recently disbanded, but we have a few copies of our albums still for sale. (CD Baby; search for Stryngs) I've posted some of our music and three videos here for anyone who's interested.

HOUSE CONCERTS : When did you last have live music in your home?

If you’re lucky enough to have a friend who is a talented musician play a song or two for you in your living room, you'll know how thrilling it is to catch every tiny nuance of a song performed just for you. Most of us aren't so lucky but … we can change that!

HOUSE CONCERTS ARE A 'WIN-WIN-WIN' SITUATION!
Hosts have talented artists playing right in their living rooms, and get to treat their friends and neighbours to a unique musical experience.

Guests appreciate a fun, rewarding evening, and directly support independent artists.

Artists relish the opportunity to play in a close and friendly environment, rather than noisy bars where their more subtle songs are often completely lost. And they love a chance to share stories about their music to a receptive audience.

SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? FIND OUT ABOUT HOUSE CONCERTS NEAR YOU AND GET INVITED. OR START HOSTING YOURSELF! BE A PART OF THE NEW MUSICAL COMMUNITY!

‘’’The Sunday Express (five stars) ***** It’s clear from the title track that you are listening to something special with O’Connor’s second solo album… ’’

The Herald (four stars) **** ''O’Connor has one of the best voices heard in Scotland in some time, and a set of fine songs to show it off…''

The List (four stars) **** ''soulful stripped down and spine tingling. ’’

Jeremy Vine (BBC Radio 2) ''Fresh, self-assured and original - Esther's music just makes you happy to be alive. What a great talent.'

Hi,

Hope you’re having a great day. Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you a little about Roosevelt Bandwagon:

Roosevelt Bandwagon's personnel currently reside in London, UK. The band comprises a fluid line-up of extremely experienced musicians who have been writing, recording and touring internationally in various guises for many years. The ethos is to play the music that comes most naturally to its members with absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the trends, fashions and formulae of the commercial music industry.

Having played house concerts many times in the States in years gone by we love the idea of the House Concert Hub – it is certainly more focused than other social networking sites and far more friendly!!!

We’re currently doing sessions for a full length album which should be ready by May of this year. In the mean time, we have put out the ‘Train Roll On’ EP. We have a limited edition of free pressings which we’re mailing out to those people who request it – hurry and drop us a line before we run out! Tracks can also be heard on our home page/ visit us on myspace: www.myspace.com/rooseveltbandwagon where you can download the tracks for free.

Do please drop us a line – we’d love to hear your thoughts on our music/ have you as a friend.

Best wishes & have a great weekend.

Done! Foolish mortal. You could have gotten at least $1.7 mil. Instead of a paltry L thingee 700,000 and a faltering government run pention plan. But, That's why I make the big bucks.
