We just wanted to impart some very exciting news....
We have now been joined by lead guitarist extraordinaire Mr Stewart Campbell....
Stewart went through three baptisms of fire with us in the space of seven days and coped brilliantly at all three gigs.....bodes well for our busy schedule in 2013....

In spite of the weather, we are having a fantastic summer gigging all o'er place....we're meeting lotsa new folks and generally having a great time.....next stop for us is Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in the beautiful Scottish Highlands....thrilled to be able to say we'll be appearing on the Potting Shed Stage on Saturday 4th August at ten to four....we'll be joined by fabulous fiddler Pete Robertson from Grousebeater Sound System and magical djembe player Henry Fosbrooke from Woodland…

Such exciting things happening for us here at Red Hook Rapids central... Our first album together will be released on Thursday 28th June at the HMV store in Inverness at 6pm.... We'll be doing a short set and then will be available for signings and chat....
The following week we set off on our British tour to promote the album....

Well, it's the night before we set off for our first show supporting Stacey Earle and Mark Stuart.....and the weather has turned from an early spring back to an angry winter.....
We have a four hour drive to get to Glasgow and the Rio Cafe in Partick down, what can sometimes be, a treacherous road....we're gonna set off a couple of hours sooner than we normally would in better conditions just to make sure we get there in plenty of time....
