Hi Square Wheels House Concerts

Hope your good.

Im working with a band called A Different Thread who are looking to book in a house concert tour. They would love to play your house concerts if possible!

Their stuff is below and it would be great to see what we can do together.

A Different Thread - Released on 15th April
Bio: ‘A Different Thread’ consists of travelling singer and songwriter Robert Jackson, and versatile classical cellist Isaac Collier. With a distinctive voice, bluesy harmonica and rhythmic guitar picking,  Jackson’s songs cleverly weave together adventure, bitter romance and synchronicity with “thought provoking, well crafted lyrics” (Gordon Giltrap). Collier’s enchanting and often improvised playing gives this folk duo a refreshing and impulsive edge.

Let me know your thoughts on the music.

Hello Steve and Clancy, I'm an Alaskan artist who'll be in the UK this August. Will you consider my music for your house concert audience? Brit artist Jen Armstrong, who is also super fabulous, will be supporting me, so you'll get both of us :)

I was wondering if I could get a moment if your time to listen to something?
It's the title track from Terry Emm's new album. I am booking shows for Terry in 2014 and thought he might suit the music events you put on.
Terry's music has recently had airplay from legendary DJ Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. Bob described Terry's music as 'excellent, excellent music' and has had him in for a live session. BBC 6 Music DJs Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins and Tom Robinson have also spun his tracks regularly alongside many regional stations. Terry has recently shared the stage with the likes of; Amy Wadge, Richard Walters, Danny & The Champs, Jackie Leven, Judith Owen, Red Dirt Skinners and many others.
MOJO magazine have described his music as 'pastoral, romantic and lit musically by summer rays…no routine singer- songwriter offering but some-thing totally engaging in melody and lyric' in a 4 star review.
It'd be interesting to see what you think to his music and great if you could consider him for a show.
Thanks very much,
Theo Hall

Halloween House Concert with Celilo Strathpeffer this week

To cheer away the autumnal chill we’re hosting another hoose concert.

Celilo are a four piece band from the most musical & cycling friendly city in America - Portland, Oregon.

You could describe them as a 70’s Neil Young meets Darkside Pink Floyd and a good dash of twang chucked in. It’s the first time we’ll have had a drummer in the Hoose too so that going to be interesting.

Check them out… Continue
