About Me
I live in France, but tour all over Europe.
I started in the 60s around London in the folk clubs, did my first TV in 1975, a national talent show called 'New Faces'. I won that with a song I wrote, 'Mavis Brown', but soon after joined a pop/folk group 'The Settlers' who had a hit with 'The lightening tree' from folly foot farm on the telly. I went on to play bass with skiffle king Lonnie Donegan, Guitar and vocals with an American girl called Diane Solomon . I have worked and toured with so many bands over the years, it's been a great life!
I have been writing songs since 1974, but somehow the time was never right to record a whole album. I am now living in France and have decided it's time to do the proper thing and record the tunes I have been writing for the last 46 years, the tunes you hear on the web site are just bedroom demos' , as the release date for new CD is later this year. I hope you enjoy them

I opened this to see if anyone round this way was interested in House Concerts, but I've not had much time to do much with it. Still like the idea, tho'. Will catch up on my listening backlog on here sometime soon ;-)

Hope you’re having a great day. Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you a little about Roosevelt Bandwagon:

Roosevelt Bandwagon's personnel currently reside in London, UK. The band comprises a fluid line-up of extremely experienced musicians who have been writing, recording and touring internationally in various guises for many years. The ethos is to play the music that comes most naturally to its members with absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the trends, fashions and formulae of the commercial music industry.

Having played house concerts many times in the States in years gone by we love the idea of the House Concert Hub – it is certainly more focused than other social networking sites and far more friendly!!!

We’re currently doing sessions for a full length album which should be ready by May of this year. In the mean time, we have put out the ‘Train Roll On’ EP. We have a limited edition of free pressings which we’re mailing out to those people who request it – hurry and drop us a line before we run out! Tracks can also be heard on our home page/ visit us on myspace: where you can download the tracks for free.

Do please drop us a line – we’d love to hear your thoughts on our music/ have you as a friend.

Best wishes & have a great weekend.

Roosevelt Bandwagon
