Brianna brings her unique take on Americana back to the grub stage backed on the night by the wonderful Doug Sires. Support on the night from Sorrel Nation. Also check out Southern Counties Radio 14th and House Of Mercy Radio 16th for Live sessions
Saturday 28th November, 8pm, £4
Bex Marshall combines a guitar playing style redolent of Stevie Ray Vaughan bumping into ol' Robert Johnson and an voice that evokes Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. Live she plays solo and lets rip like no one is watch…
Bex was brilliant - and we got a 'full house' more or less as well (I was 'on the door' for the first time and was kept very busy!). She has agreed to come back next year as well - date already booked. Had to cancel tonight (Brianna Hardyman) because of snow unfortunately - especially as we had Alan and Laura from Maverick Magazine and Julian from Farncombe Music Club among the guest list. Never mind!
June could be a bit difficult for us, because of FOOTBALL - yes, it's World Cup time! We are going to do Saturdays - but already fully booked - but think Fridays could be difficult if clash with important matches (and we are thinking about fans here, not just for Steve and I!). Will talk to Steve again. Claire from Grapevine did mention Chris to us a while ago, so we do know about him.
Can't wait for next year, with all the brilliant people we've got coming to play at Grub - just for starters I've been exchanging emails with Katy Lied this evening (rated very highly by Laura at Maverick Magazine): they are playing next month. RCPM will be a particular highlight of course - and I gather we may have some special guests (who you will know!) coming along, plus Bernice is definitely playing too.
Hi Terry,
I'm finally getting around to doing something with this site - hoping to make a trip early next year if not sooner. Let me know if you have any suggestions of places to play :-)
I'm adding some demos today as well.

So glad to hear the Bex Marshall went well - wish we could have been there but Bex is coming our way in January so we'll catch her there !
Chris Cook is one of my friends and he is heading this way in June time - do you have any openings then at all ?
I'd love to book a show! I will send out some promo cds to you today.
