We have to travel back to the 26 July 1996, to watch the birth of The Moonshiners baby, in Algueirão, a county near Lisbon.

Both their parents, the several musical influences they've got (Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Rock, Experimental, World Music) and friends are very pleased those days and nowadays.

During the years, The Moonshiners developed an original repertoire, gigging all over Portugal.
