Hey Tom,

I am a singer songwriter from CT, USA. I am releasing a record on April 10th called Primitive Times, and am heading to Ireland for some shows to promote the new release from April 9-15. this is my third full length release, and my first to actually have world wide distribution and a label (eOne distribution and A2Z Entertainment).

I am also the only American to be singing and writing songs in support of the Syrian revolution, since my wife is Syrian and so many of our family are over there ecperiencing the horror of what is happening on a daily basis in Syria. Here is the link to a live performance for a song called Feza Feza which I wrote for Syria, which I performed at a fundriaser that I organized for Syria in NYC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62Y__jebF7I

As you can guess by my name, I am much more Irish than anything else. In fact, I studied Literature at UCC in 1996 and have been back to Ireland twice since. I am in love with Ireland, and can't wait to come back to share my new music.

I am hoping to fill a couple of off days on this tour with house concerts. So, I am reaching out to because I saw you listed as a host. As of this moment it looks like I am playing Whelan's in Dublin on Tuesday April 10 and the Ruby Sessions on Thursday April 12. I will be in Ireland through the April 15th.

Check out my profile page and my website at www.dylanconnor.com for more info.

Thanks for your consideration. Any advice is appreciated.

I plan on being in Europe from the third week of may through the first week of July. I will be spending my first week in Ireland and beyond that I'm wide open, I'd love to come play for you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, below you will find links to my myspace as well as for some "talent buyer only" tracks that have not yet made it onto official release.

Hi,

Hope you’re having a great day. Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you a little about Roosevelt Bandwagon:

Roosevelt Bandwagon's personnel currently reside in London, UK. The band comprises a fluid line-up of extremely experienced musicians who have been writing, recording and touring internationally in various guises for many years. The ethos is to play the music that comes most naturally to its members with absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the trends, fashions and formulae of the commercial music industry.

Having played house concerts many times in the States in years gone by we love the idea of the House Concert Hub – it is certainly more focused than other social networking sites and far more friendly!!!

We’re currently doing sessions for a full length album which should be ready by May of this year. In the mean time, we have put out the ‘Train Roll On’ EP. We have a limited edition of free pressings which we’re mailing out to those people who request it – hurry and drop us a line before we run out! Tracks can also be heard on our home page/ visit us on myspace: www.myspace.com/rooseveltbandwagon where you can download the tracks for free.

Do please drop us a line – we’d love to hear your thoughts on our music/ have you as a friend.

Best wishes & have a great weekend.

Roosevelt Bandwagon

A New Jess Wayne Review - Somehow Overlooked from 3 Years Ago

Just found this from the "Miews". I think it says some interesting things, particularly about ageism in music and the treatment of older singer songwriters. I think my feelings were hurt when he or she only gave a "6" on Vocals... but as I read on, not so bad in context. :) JESS WAYNE – RIDE THE RIVER (MUSIC REVIEW)RATING: 7.5 / 10Genre: Rock, Blues, AmericanaSongwriting: 8.5 | Music: 8 | Vocals: 6Location: Glendale, CAWebsite: www.jesswayne.comFor fans…See More
