On this page you can get details of gigs (music, comedy, art) and our radio show (see player to the left)

All profits going to good causes and community projects (so far a large amount of money has been raised for the collieston amenities funds for the pier repairs, new hall and the like)

Details of previous shows below:-

review of spring equinox 09 show no 10 - maria hall and band (including the sound man michael!) were stars, keeping us entertained through the night, with passion and roots the collieston audience loved them! Andy tucker and friends had car troubles so the oxbow lake orchestra stood in with a couple of hours notice (and without months of activity) to play one of their better shows all funked up with live jams and andy's wah wah pedal getting an airing! least said about the jani lang band the better....

show no 6 (collieston) - sell out show was a celebration of caribbean culture... a kind of 'tropical' sunsets, to cheer up those dark mid-winter nights!, with

aka ska, macumba and a surprise guest the hilarious Roberto Cassani - see Ness MP3 site to download his album:-

Dear Andy:

I See Hawks In L.A. are releasing two records in May: our own and an EP collaboration with the Good Intentions which turned out quite well. We plan on touring UK/Ireland this summer.

It's a bit of short notice (our agent Bob Butler of Grapevine has sadly passed away), but if you have a slot for us we'd love to play one of your concerts. Our tour window is July through mid-August, though we could head over earlier if that's when most of the shows are happening.

Rob Ellen will give us a hearty recommendation! We are southern California's leading alt country folk band. We've done 3 or 4 tours of UK/Ireland, have been in the Euro Americana chart top ten 3 times, and have Geraint of G Promo PR on board. He got us great press and BBC appearances last time and will be invaluable in promoting live shows. My email is below, can send you our bio and sneak preview of our forthcoming CDs.

Here is a listening link to all seven of our previous releases and live shows:

HI Andy,

I have sent you a friend request. We (JINSKI original acoustic roots duo) have a ten date Scottish tour in July and we have two dates to fill. I wondered if you might be interested in doing something? The night's we are looking to fill are Sunday 17th and Monday 18th. For a brief introduction to JINSKI watch this ...  ...we have a website which is being repaired as we speak and will be back online at the weekend so please free to check that out too. If you don't think you can help that's not a problem but we'd like to send you a CD for you radio show anyway so if you can let me have an address and we'll send you something.

Hi Andy,

I was wondering if I could get a moment if your time to listen to something?
It's the title track from Terry Emm's new album. I am booking shows for Terry in 2014 and thought he might suit the music events you put on.
Terry's music has recently had airplay from legendary DJ Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. Bob described Terry's music as 'excellent, excellent music' and has had him in for a live session. BBC 6 Music DJs Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins and Tom Robinson have also spun his tracks regularly alongside many regional stations. Terry has recently shared the stage with the likes of; Amy Wadge, Richard Walters, Danny & The Champs, Jackie Leven, Judith Owen, Red Dirt Skinners and many others.
MOJO magazine have described his music as 'pastoral, romantic and lit musically by summer rays…no routine singer- songwriter offering but some-thing totally engaging in melody and lyric' in a 4 star review.
It'd be interesting to see what you think to his music and great if you could consider him for a show.
Thanks very much,
Theo Hall

Bonnie Bishop Looking for Gigs 2-15 August

Her soulful compositions and raspy voice outlive her personal reinvention as she finds driving rock rhythms in her guitar and piano, the latest addition to cadre of talent.  Bonnie wrote the new material with a simple notion in mind: You have to love yourself before you can fully love and be loved by anyone else.

Bonnie frequently writes with some of the most lauded songwriters in Nashville including Mike Reid, Al Anderson (NRBQ), Lee Roy Parnell, Pat McLaughlin and Seth Walker. “Not ‘Cause I Wanted To,” a song she co-wrote with Anderson, was recently recorded by her musical hero Bonnie Raitt for Raitt's "Slipstream" album released this past April -- a dream come true for Bishop.

Hi Andy

I am looking to fill gaps in  singer/songwrter Allan Taylor's Scottish tour in November 2013.

To find out about Allan see or have a look in his DropBox folder at where you'll find his bio and some pictures.

I doubt that there have been many more 'covered' songwriters than Allan Taylor to come out of the British folk revival in the 1960's who have continued to write so prolifically and tour.  Are there any others who have been covered by such a range of performers as Allan?  I wouldn't have thought so.  Some 70-75 cover versions of his songs are listed at  The performers there range from US country star Don Williams to Nana Mouskouri (two songs) to French chanteuse Francois Hardy and from Dick Gaughan to Fairport Convention to The Clancy Brothers.  Leading the field is "It's Good to See You" covered by no less than 21 others world-wide with both Don Williams and Nana Mouskouri each receiving platinum discs for their versions.

Thu 14   available
Fri 15    Glasgow (venue tbc)
Sat 16    Benderloch
Sun 17    available
Mon 18    Stirling FC
Tue 19 and Wed 20   available
Thu 21    Dumfries Bawbee FC
Fri 22   available
Sat 23    Portsoy FC
Sun 24    Inverness, Bogbain
Mon 25 to Thu 28   available
Fri 29    Gateshead

Would you be able to host a show for him on one of these empty dates?  Fri 22 Nov looks possible (altho' it's a big step from Dumfries!), or Mon 25 Nov, the night after Portsoy (a little better for the itinerary).

I look forward to hearing from you

Hi Andy

I represent Jim Page from Seattle whose website is at and for whom I am searching for gigs in the UK in October 2013.

Jim has been writing songs for moons it seems - since the late 1960s, so he's been around a bit.  He released his first vinyl album of original
music “A Shot Of The Usual,” in 1975, followed quickly by two more before he arrived in the UK in 1977 to live and tour for the next six years.
Christy Moore popularised some of Jim's songs, most notably "Hiroshina-Nagasaki Russian Roulette".  In 2007 Jim was included in an all star
list of the “50 Most Influential Musicians In Seattle History.”  Back in the USA now for about 30 years he's had a hankering to tread the
UK boards again and is touring here throughout October 2013.

Tue 1 to Fri 4  available
Sat 5    Belper
Sun 6    London Walthamstow
Mon 7 to Thu 10  available
Fri 11    Trowbridge (Wilts) Village Pump
Sat 12 and Sun 13  available
Mon 14    Stirling FC
Tue 15 to Sun 20  available
Mon 21 to Sun 27   Irish dates

Would you be able to host a concert for Jim during this tour?

For more information on Jim please do have a look in our DropBox at his promo pack --- (there are six audio tracks there.  I don't have CD's to mail out for Jim.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Billy Kemp seeking UK House Concert Dates for May 2019

Hey UK Friends, Billy Kemp here. I am planning a new tour of the UK for May of 2019. I had a great tour in October and November 2017.  For those of you that don't know me,  I’ve been playing guitar for forty-five years and also play the banjo, bass, harmonica, piano and anything you can get a sound out of. I live near Nashville, Tennessee where I have hung my hat infrequently, since I spend so much of my time on the road. I average five or six tours annually, which take me all over the United…See More
