About Me
I'm a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Australia, based in Germany, and regularly playing concerts and festivals in Europe.
I've released three independent albums since "turning pro" in 2001, and all 38 songs from these albums, plus two songs from compilations have been played on ABC radio, commercial network radio, and public/community radio in Australia.
I've opened for Arrested Development, Status Quo, Richard Clapton, Nick Barker, Neil Murray, James Blundell, The Waifs and played concerts and festivals in Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, the UK and Australia.
I've written more than 1000 songs, book all my own gigs, do my own management and distribution, and cannot juggle, breathe fire or play the dulcimer.
I quit or lost every job I ever had due to my "complete lack of respect for authority".

Haha, yeah, we kind of forgot about it for a while too, but we're coming over to europe soon, so I thought I 'd hop on here again.  We will be travelling through Germany a bit, so I was checking out the artists who live there.  Your music sounds good!

Do you have any suggestions for places to play in Stuttgart?

Hey man, great to meet you. Love your lyrics and playing. I'm sometimes in Germany around the Freiburg area. Be great to hear more about performing there sometime. Are you ever in the States near North Carolina? Always a welcome there..J

A New Jess Wayne Review - Somehow Overlooked from 3 Years Ago

Just found this from the "Miews". I think it says some interesting things, particularly about ageism in music and the treatment of older singer songwriters. I think my feelings were hurt when he or she only gave a "6" on Vocals... but as I read on, not so bad in context. :) JESS WAYNE – RIDE THE RIVER (MUSIC REVIEW)RATING: 7.5 / 10Genre: Rock, Blues, AmericanaSongwriting: 8.5 | Music: 8 | Vocals: 6Location: Glendale, CAWebsite: www.jesswayne.comFor fans…See More
