ShAnnie commented on rob ellen's group Artist looking for House ConcertsThe building was quaint, almost angelic; I guess because it was in an old Methodist Church. It was the new Texas Music Barn in Linden, Texas; where the Texas Music Awards were being held and it was a bit different from where it was held the last time we were nominated back in 2008, but it was still just as glamorous and wonderful. They had all things TEXAS decorating that fine Music Barn. There were southern-smiling volunteers to welcome you, Texas wild flowers…

Every drop of colored water followed direction well, as the artist wisped his brush up and down with loose strokes. Then he’d return the brush for more shades of blue and red, after a quick spin in the rinse water. It’s incredible, watching the end result of a watercolor painting spread into view. I’m thankful for the breath I take and for all the nights I lay awake, counting my heartbeats and my blessings; for it means that although I can’t sleep, I am alive and I am so very grateful for it.

ShAnnie said… It's incredible to be involved in a profession with such talented and encouraging people.
Musicians, artists... friends; it was humbling as we accepted the award for Vocal Duo at the Texas Music Awards 2012...but we don't accept it alone.
We believe so much that this is a synchronized effort, so we gratefully and totally accept the award on all our behaves, and share it with all our musician friends here and across the seas.
May we all continue to sing and travel the road in Harmony with one another... for that's what makes us winners.
Thanks for the support!

Having abandoned music making for a decade or so, Florida native Grant Peeples has been back with a bit of a bang in the last few years with this new one being the fourth album in the last five years. He’s quite an old style left wing protest singer and if you asked him what he was protesting against, he would answer, as per…
