Sunday Free Noodle 21

This Weeks noodle is:

Matt Stevens - Draw (Rough Solo Mix), Guitar/Fuzz Bass/Guitar Synth, Filter Pedal - Stuart Marshall Drum Loop - K Feazey - Programming Recorded by K Feazey Not mixed or mastered.

This weeks noodle is an example of when you try something and it doesn’t work - we went for an electric solo on this, thinking kind of Neil Young/Thurston Moore/Zappa(live)/Greg Ginn messed up soloing - we just ended up kind of messy. Thats what happen when you do last minute… Continue

Tears in my eyes

Tears in my eyes,

crumbs on my shirt,

listening to The King,

drinking away the hurt.

As Barney McKenna of the Dubliners would sing - I wish I had someone to love me, someone to call me their own. I don't - and so I can do as I please at 2am in the morning. I sit here drinking irn bru, eating white caramel shortcakes, watching Elvis.

Seems like a lifetime since I was in Europe, over two weeks I've been back, but I sure got a taste for touring last… Continue

How is it possible to have a job and keep on top of gigging and all these different sites

I always have the best intentions when i sign up to sites like House Concert Hub. The are great places to network, meet like minded musicians, venues etc. But something has to give... There just aren't enough hours in the week. 28 Hours in the Office, 12 hours gigging (OK so each gig is just over 2 hours, but travelling setting up etc), 3 hours e-mailing, 2 hours web updates, numerous hours on social networking, maybe a little practice...

It all comes down to priorities. My favourite… Continue

Also regarding this next Thursday a lot of our regulars are talking about going to see Joan Armatrading in Inverness on Thursday so in the abcence of Emma (still on Holliday) we've taken an executive decision to take… Continue
