From Nashville to Norway to the U.K.

Just taking a moment to visit one of my favorite sites; it's been a while and I feel a bit guilty (sorry Rob), but I do enjoy listening to the lovely music (just discovered Esther O'Connor, really like her tune Making Me Clean) and making new friends.

My husband (Norwegian songwriter Peter Nova, aka J.P. Ringvold), and I will be performing at a festival called From Nashville To Norway on September 9-10, 2011 including songwriters and musicians David Olney,…

And the people..I can't say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of the  festival team, nor can I express my appreciation fully for the wonderful welcome by the audiences…

froots mag review of From Is to Was

Our Jugalbandi debut album entitled From Is to Was received a very favourable review in the May issue of fRoots mag. Review by Ian Keary.

"Or, ‘It Came From Edinburgh’... this collaboration between former Shannachie member, multi-instrumentalist Gordon Irvine and improvlrock guitarist Chris Kant is a terrific debut for the duo. A New Jess Wayne Review - Somehow Overlooked from 3 Years Ago

Just found this from the "Miews". I think it says some interesting things, particularly about ageism in music and the treatment of older singer songwriters. I think my feelings were hurt when he or she only gave a "6" on Vocals... but as I read on, not so bad in context. :) JESS WAYNE – RIDE THE RIVER (MUSIC REVIEW)RATING: 7.5 / 10Genre: Rock, Blues, AmericanaSongwriting: 8.5 | Music: 8 | Vocals: 6Location: Glendale, CAWebsite: www.jesswayne.comFor fans…See More
