A great way to end a great year was by way of a UK tour, and it was great to play with and to so many old friends, and so many new friends along the way!

With seven dates in seven days, it really was a whirlwind tour, next time, it's going to be a hurricane, with the next tour planned from the 15th of…

HOUSE CONCERT bookings 2011

Hi all, what a wonderful site network you have here.  So glad to have become a member!

I'm now taking bookings for house concerts 2011.  Having been head down throughout the most of 2010 whilst recording the new album 'Golden', tours have been on hold apart from a few dates including the previously featured and most excellent 'Brindle Rocks' in Preston (thanks guys!!).  The album was launched in December, however, and bookings are now going in the…

JAMMING ON TYBEE ISLAND

It's a dark winter's night on Tybee Island.  Up and down Tybrisa Street, near the pier, the souvenir shops have all closed and a brisk breeze is whipping from the beach, only a few yards away.  The neon glow of Doc's Bar spills out onto the sidewalk and as you step inside you hear the ringing of old guitars and the throaty strains of harmonicas and singing.

Huddled in the back room, in a circle facing inward, sit the strumming, humming, picking, grinning members of Doc's…

Hello everyone:

Hope you're all having a lovely winter and aren't fretting too much about the coming holiday season!

I'll be coming to the UK again next year, yay! and am looking for shows from Apr. 28th - May 12th. I'll be in England and Scotland with the added help of my agents Grapevine Music and with a lot of help from my friend Rob Ellen! Thanks Rob!

European Tour Dates Update

The shows are coming together for our next tour! Check the Calendar page on my website for confirmed dates in The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and England. There will be more to come as things get nailed down and we fill in the in-betweens. Tnis is our most ambitious trip ever - we will criss-cross England and be in and out of Heathrow (our old stomping ground!) more times than I care to think about. Along the way will be joined by musical mates to include Roland Wolff, Duncan…

The crunch of snow, the smell of the dark woods in winter, a new song for the holidays...

My friend Rich McCulley was hosting a night of Christmas songs at the Cinema Bar in Culver City. "But all the songs have to be original," he said. I love Christmas music - Phil Spector's Christmas album is in my Top Ten, and that's all-time, not just holiday music - but I've never been able to write anything about the holiday that made sense. But I did find inspiration and came up with something that really spells it out for me. As soon as I wrote the song I knew we had to record it and get…

New website now LIVE - Please check it out! www.jerryharmon.com

Hey guys

After much hard work and scratching of heads my new website is up and running. I would love for you all to take a look and give me some feedback which I would truly appreciate.

There's plenty more to be added but it's a great start and I like the new contemporary look, plus this is so much more interactive.

Now all I need do is wrap my mind round these widget things I hear so much about, not to mention apps..but hey, gotta roll with the time.

Drop…

Brand New Live Album out now on iTunes

Very excited to let you know that my brand new release, Lisa Redford Live, is out now on iTunes! It contains 14 songs from my sold out homecoming show at Norwich Arts Centre this year. I’ve often been asked in the past when I was going to release a live recording as I mostly perform solo and for me there is something really special and intimate about one person on stage and most of my favourite artists are solo performers too. I was really inspired to release a live recording after… Continue
