Dear musicfriends,
Interesting times working on the new album, coming thursday 14th of May back in the studio again with my good friend Gerben Klazinga who is one of the best musicians I've ever met ( Knight Area).
Hopefully the album will be ready this summer!
Yesterday I was at present when the talented Merel Hutten introduced her new album "Take a walk" in Amsterdam Credo, she performed several numbers of the CD and she is great!

This is a great idea, - not an entirely new one (healthy concerts got in there first i believe) but nonetheless we love the idea of turning up at somebody's home and doing a performance for people who are interested in hearing our music and a bunch of their mates, and actually having the chance to meet them personally in a relaxed enviroment. Buuuuuuuuuut an it's a sizeable butt as they say, is there enough of a demand for it from ordinary folks who have the time on their hands and are…

Hello friends in the UK.
My name is Lorelei, there's a pile of information about me on my sites and on my http://www.myspace.com/loreleiloveridge site. I won't repeat it here.
Suffice to say, I'm on a projected 200-date tour of the UK in 2009-2010, to dig up the roots of my ancestors and to carry on my journey as an inquiring traveller and as someone who deeply and truly wants to know what makes us tick. As I share my stories and songs, I am equally intrigued by the…

After reading our today local newspaper, I had my moment again. Maybe you reconize such a moment, in wich you feel like a victim. A victim of the freedom of journalists. These people are given you different kinds of feelings. But in my case, most of the time after reading the local newspaper I feel unhappy. I wonder how these people feel after finishing their dayjob. I hope they don't feel satisfied. I hope they do not sleep at nights. I hope they…

Today it's mam's day. I want to gratulate all mam's in the world. My mother died in 2003 but I think of her a lot. Not just today, but every moment my mother comes in my mind I spent some time with her. I don't need a special mam's day. That is just for the commerce. Come on folks, every one also every mother in the world can use some extra attention every time, every day in a year. BE THERE FOR…

Just uploaded all songs from two CDs. The first CD is called Where Is Your Soul? and is a solo CD with songs written by Gil except for two cover songs written by firends.
The second CD is called Touching Souls and is by Acoustic Fusion, a musical partnership between Gil and Howard C. Holbert. Howard writes the lyrics then Gil composes the music and performs the songs, sometimes changing lyrics or adding if needed.
All songs are now on the music player in high qulaity…

For anyone who is visiting in the Atlanta, Georgia, USA area, you can check the Southeastern Bluegrass Association website at www.sebabluegrass.org for a calendar of jams and pickins to attend. I also know of many that are not published and will be happy to tell you about them.

I am a serious music listener.
By which I mean, of course, that I am an anorak. I hunker beside the stero, clutching the sleeve notes in a sweaty fist and nod knowingly everytime I convince myself that I, king of the fans, understand every allusion, reference and sly invocation projected by my favourite artists.
I think the term "wanker" also applies.
I've been this way all my life. I like to be in on the joke - thus side-stepping much of the worry that I am the…

From the Founder and President of Incubator Creative Group,
Nate Sakany.
I love to help early stage Christian musicians develop their ministries to the thriving level. And I've been doing so for 30 years. It's all about discovering, defining, developing and deploying your vision to reach your world through the power of music. Most of what is taught about the music business won't help you at the emerging stage. The realities for…

I'm thrilled to be heading across the pond soon to play some music in Scotland, England, and the Netherlands (my first visit to Amsterdam!)
I've recently confirmed that I'll be playing on the Medicine Show with Rob Ellen in Ulapool, his radio show, and then live that same evening at the Argyle Hotel, Ulapool, all happening on May 19. The previous day I'll be doing a virtual house concert with Dave Sidley at the Music Shed. I've played house concerts before, but this'll be my first…

Hey everybody,
It's official !!! I'm on way over mid July thru who knows how much off August? It's my first tour overseas and to say I'm excited about it would be an obvious understatement. I've just posted some of the dates with more to follow and would like to thank everyone who has helped get this tour started. I've had the good fortune of having the help and support of Mr Rob Ellen whom we all know. It has been thru him that I have been introduced to a huge group of new friends. Fellow…

Am not quite sure how to work this site yet so please excuse the fumbling around....
We happened upon The House Concert European Hub earlier this week as a result of looking for possible venues to play during our visit to mainland Europe in late May / early June. It looks like a great initiative!
We're from Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK. Stroud has become a location synonymous with music and the arts generally and is a place…
