A Life of it's Own

Happy to announce, that in a very delayed search on that massive interweb.. I discovered that "I Left the City Burning,'' title track of our latest album, has charted on college radio in Canada, namely, in Alberta.. but doing well in Quebec and Ontario as well.

Proud and happy that despite my time in Europe.. the album is alive and well in Canada. Thanks to all the radio people who spin the song!

Right on!

when sometimes is good

Sometimes the universe provides you with exactly what you were inwardly

asking for. I met Inneke 23 last spring when she visited Berlin.

Charmed by her honest story-telling and songwriting, and in full of

admiration of her travels, I was glad to reconnect with her again last

week. Two independent female songwriters with bands that are great but

can't travel full time, we have a lot in common, and the parts we… Continue

Winter & Spring

I think you will hear me if you push the 'listen' part.

Lately I've found myself almost obsessed with Honey Bee's. I mean I wrote a song called The Honey Bee Way,I hear other songs about them, see them in stores, and hear other folks talking

about them. Bee's!!! I love them. I think what's really happening is that I'm getting over-anxious for Winter to finally finish and Spring to get going.

I live in Minnesota Winter is really Winter here it was a… Continue

Early One Morning

It's a good day. About 10 minutes ago, I was just finishing art school. 2 minutes after that I was married. 2 after that and we were living in California. 2 more and we had 2 kids. 2 more and we had returned to England. 1 more and I was playing music again. 10 seconds ago I discovered this great website. And in about 5 seconds from now, it's cheers n' ta to the first 50 years of my stay on th'earth. When I was a kid in the 1960's we dressed like miniature versions of our parents. Now we dress… Continue

Green it Grows

30 years ago, I was at the end of 4 years of art school and playing in

a band, heavily influenced by English songwriting of the likes of XTC

and Squeeze. Then 'reality' kicked in, and I eventually ceased playing

music (oh the sadness) and went to America to pursue my career as a

graphic Designer. But Lo and Verily, here I am, 50 years old in a few

weeks, and the blessed curse of making music has descended upon me

again, like the Holy Dove that's lost its way. After… Continue

Sunday Free Noodle Week 2

Well its week 2 of the Sunday Free Noodle and this week’s is a bit good. Its a remix of Dolls House by the mighty @pseudoambient (Gaetano Fontanazza)- Italian ambient genius. Its called the - Its Working Right Pseudo Remix. The fact that that he put this Remix together before I’d even posted the stems is even more impressive. I’m really pleased with this one and I think hes done a blinding job. I really enjoyed hearing the track and it does feature… Continue

Howdy Folks

I think it's been last year since I wrote anything. Okay I know

that's a bad joke. You might even say it's old as the hills. I

have a friend that lives in the desert. He's always trying to

convince me to go out and visit. That I'd love it and I think

he's right. I'd love to go and visit him; although,

I must admit to a little fear.

What's the fear about? Not coming back of course I've been

in the mood to move lately.

Big… Continue

1. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST RECORD THAT YOU EVER OWNED? The Beatles '65. It was an American edition that wasn't released in Britain. It was actually my mom's but I wore it out so much that she just let me have it. The second record that was mine, all mine, was a Christmas gift...Rod Stewart, "Every Picture Tells A Story".

2. WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE CONCERT THAT YOU EVER ATTENDED? A family friend worked for The Allman Brothers Band and he took me down to Lakeland, Florida, for a New… Continue
