Last night we had a great gig of Canadian American Ray Bonneville in our livingroom. About 15 people did go exiting during the songs. Ray is a great performer, his lyrics mostly have a message in it and his guitar playing is unique. He shows the art of not to fill in too much. Re-tuning time is story-telling time.
Last Thursday, we hosted our first house concert. The artist was American guitarist Walter Strauss.
I have to say, it was a little nerve-racking wondering how many people would show up. We had had quite a few people say they were coming, but all the same we couldn't be sure until the time came. As it was, we needn't have worried; we had a good crowd (about 25).

This is a great idea, - not an entirely new one (healthy concerts got in there first i believe) but nonetheless we love the idea of turning up at somebody's home and doing a performance for people who are interested in hearing our music and a bunch of their mates, and actually having the chance to meet them personally in a relaxed enviroment. It's official !!! I'm on way over mid July thru who knows how much off August? It's my first tour overseas and to say I'm excited about it would be an obvious understatement. The first "virtual house concert" From The Music Shed
featuring Angie Palmer and supported by Roddy Huggan and Maria Hall with Jeremy Perron, was successfully broadcast via webcam between 3pm and 7pm yesterday (15th March)

on March 7+8, so i am planing to fill up the days from Feb 27 up the March 6 with GIGs in England ...
