Greetings everyone...my name is Adam Marsland, from Los Angeles, California, and I'm planning to be in Europe for two weeks in May on an acoustic tour, singing songs and telling stories. This is my first trip to Europe and I am excited to come.
I have had a varied career in the states. I was the leader of the powerpop band Cockeyed Ghost in the '90s, and also worked with Stew, who won a 2008 Tony Award for "Passing Strange." Later on I made four solo albums, two of which made amazon's top 40 sales list, and I also did a great deal of work as a sideman, including with members of the Beach Boys, Evie Sands, Davie Allan and many others. I was also a member of the Standells for a while, and as a producer/engineer have gotten to work with members of Earth Wind and Fire, Three Dog Night, and many others.
As an acoustic performer, I have done 22 tours of the U.S., playing every kind of environment, from 25,000 seat sports arenas to the produce aisle at Wild Oats Market. I'm going to be touring behind my new album, THE OWL AND THE FULL MOON.
I am going to be in Liverpool, England on May 17-18, in Scandanavia May 23-25, and in Hamburg, Germany on May 26.I am hoping to fill more dates in the U.K. and Scotland on May 19-22, and have an open schedule after May 26 where I could play in Germany, Holland, Belgium, France or back in the U.K. I can also possibly make an early trip to the U.K. the weekend of May 11 if there are gigs to warrant it.
I'm looking forward to the opportunity to meet and play in such a different and new environment, and to share my songs and experiences with you!
