Happy Hosting, Happy New Year - Rob Ellen

indie, experimental, folk, jazz, global fusion singer songwriter booking first europe tour summer 2019

Hello friends!

My name is Anjali, I'm originally from the US but currently living in Almería Spain for the year. I am planning a tour around Europe this summer, my solo work is much more intimate so I'm reaching out to your lovely house show network for any help I may be able to get as this tour will be my first so far from home.

My music is a melange of folk, jazz, acoustic, and indian/global fusion. For this tour I plan to bring my classical guitar and loop pedal. I often involve audience participation by creating meditative loop sequences and passing the mic around, or passing out hand made percussion instruments to folks. I have played extensively in the East Coast and North of the US and in Montreal Canada, but am excited to share my music with Europe.

I plan to tour sometime from mid June to the beginning of August, I have been applying to festivals though am on the look out for smaller, acoustic, or experimental festivals where my work could fit better. http://anandaluna.com

Right now my calendar is looking like I will start in Spain, perhaps go to rome italy, then head to France, London UK, Amsterdam, Berlin, Denmark, Sweden.

I am not opposed to working with a booking agent!

Sending much love and appreciation to everyone here in this network. The part of the US where I come from (Western Massachusetts) has a lot of house shows, of which I have organized many...to me nothing beats the community thats grown from house shows so I am happy to see this website exists!

Many thanks,

Anjali

Hey Anjali, As I am sure you will realise, to work in the UK, you would need a Work Visa.  I am a licensed agent and I am the websites go-to guy in respect of CoS (Work Visas).  I would be more than happy to assist in this respect and look forward to hearing from you.  I can be contacted directly via Greg.cooper79@gmail.com; after which, I can send you the correct forms to complete to enable me to apply etc.

Cheers for now and look forward to your contact

Greg
