London-based singer-songwriter looking for house concerts

Hi all, I'm a London-based singer-songwriter with an album coming out at the end of summer, looking to play some house concerts around London - or, generally, the South of England. From what I've noticed, house concerts are quite common in Germany (and a few other European countries), but not sure if so much in the UK? I'm new to this scene - I have gigged a lot but so far only at 'regular' venues (festivals, pubs, etc). Now that I discovered that such a thing exists, I would really love to play some house concerts! My music is so much better suited for an intimate audience.

So, first of all, if you're a host in England and would be interested in having me, please let me know.

I'm also considering a mini tour around Germany once my album comes out (and maybe other places, too, if I can string some dates together).

But enough with my chit-chat! Here are some videos of me playing music:

"Mystery of Love" (Sufjan Stevens cover): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln538GGWXto

"Aquarium" (original): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oag9PSONkpw

"City of My Mind" (original): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lxq91FO9twM

"The Man With the Child in His Eyes" (Kate Bush cover): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulW8hpSIJM0

If you'd like something like this resounding in your living room, do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you! If in the UK, I can bring my own keyboard. If abroad, I would only be able to play if the host can provide a piano or keyboard.

Feel free to check out my website for more info: http://www.jewelia-music.com/

Or just message me here (or email at: jeweliamusic@gmail.com and ask whatever you wish to know - I'm friendly!

Have an amazing week!

HI there,

just had a house concert in my home last Friday - can fit 30 people in the front room.

Heidi Burson brought her band with her and did an amazing gig.

I am on the Isle of Man which is up off the Lancaster coast.

Heidi left hr piano in England and came by boat - I have an electric piano I can borrow. She also bought a double base and a guitar player!!

You can fly here or boat train it. I charged  a donation of £10 per head for Heidi so she went away with 310 pounds and sold loads of CD's. Donation charge is of course negotiable.

Accommodation and food free.

If you are interested in coming in September give me a shout.

Kind regards

Jill
