Hello Amy,

I just joined this community yesterday, and felt impressed to connect with you first! I'm actually coming through the Ronda, Spain area the second week of April.  I'm curious if the stars would align to create a magical evening of music with you!  I would love to open for you.

Feel free to check out what I have to offer and see if it's a good fit for you.  Looking forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely, Emily Potter

Hi Amy,

I was wondering if I could get a moment if your time to listen to something?
It's the title track from Terry Emm's new album. I am booking shows for Terry in 2014 and thought he might suit the music events you put on.
Terry's music has recently had airplay from legendary DJ Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. Bob described Terry's music as 'excellent, excellent music' and has had him in for a live session. BBC 6 Music DJs Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins and Tom Robinson have also spun his tracks regularly alongside many regional stations. Terry has recently shared the stage with the likes of; Amy Wadge, Richard Walters, Danny & The Champs, Jackie Leven, Judith Owen, Red Dirt Skinners and many others.
MOJO magazine have described his music as 'pastoral, romantic and lit musically by summer rays…no routine singer- songwriter offering but some-thing totally engaging in melody and lyric' in a 4 star review.
It'd be interesting to see what you think to his music and great if you could consider him for a show.
Thanks very much,
Theo Hall

Hi Amy,

I did a quick search not knowing what I would find as we are planning to be in Spain late April, early may 2010 and what a yummy find!! :) I am glad your friend encouraged you. You certainly have some heart to share. :) Anyway...wondering if you would like to have a little listen to our selection and maybe we could tag-team a concert in your lovely space next year. There's certainly some universally lovely theme sharing going on! :) Happy new year. Would be lovely to hear from you. Penny

Hola Duncan (so now you know how to greet people in Spanish too!),
Nice to hear from you again. Yes, Spain is a very beautiful country, especially the part where we live - well, of course it would be! Mind you, we had such a howling gale blowing yesterday and all through the night I was scared we would wake up with no roof, so I´d be lying if I said it was perfect all the time. We´re up in the mountains here so it gets a bit extreme during the winter months (unlike the coast where it really is so much warmer at this time of year but then you have to put up with all the golfing types who live in ex-pat only compounds, so it´s a good exchange really!). You really MUST visit but take loads of time to travel the whole country - something I must do too!
As to not being able to get any sound from my songs, well, you´re one of the lucky ones!!! It´s probably something I haven´t done as am not exactly a techie kinda gal and there are no five year old kids around to ask for help!
OK, well, it was great to hear from you. Take care and enjoy the festive season,

Hello Amy,
Thanks for taking the time to say hello. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am not able to hear any of your tunes. I will check back later, but for some reason the songs play but there is no sound.

Well, I have never been to Spain, but I think I should. It sounds lovely. It always sounds lovely from all of my friend's accounts of their visits. So I must go. Besides I know how to ask for a beer in Spanish. Whatelse does a boy need?
All my best, Duncan

Hey Amy,

Whew, I never thought EVER in my life I would be constantly this overwhelmed, but I am - to the point of becoming a horrible correspondent! Thanks for your note, and I hope to hook up with you again. We're currently looking at doing a trip through Spain that now has us in a few locations. So, if we get where you are, in July, it'll be nice to have a coffee or meal.

Take care until then.
