"With Niños Del Sol it seems The Division Men have managed to release an full length that sits somewhere between Mark Lanegan era Queens Of The Stone Age, Nick Cave and Johnny Cash‘s American series of albums, to me Niños Del Sol sounds like an album crafted for late nights that run into early mornings where the bourbon has been poured freely and the air is heavy with smoke." Hello,

I’m constantly looking for gigs and any tips would be greatly appreciated! Everything's of interest: Club gigs, open mike nights, festivals, house concerts, prisons, funerals, baptisms - weddings not so!

KENT NIELSEN (DK) – Ukulele Folk Punk / Singer/Songwriter!

"Echoes of JON LANGFORD and RYAN ADAMS. There's something more immediate about this stripped-down version of Kent Nielsen". (R2 Magazine (UK) / Peter Tomkins)

Kent Nielsen is Danish but living in Lübeck (North Germany). He’s got a history as an author, percussionist, shoe shop clerk, record label guy, mail order honcho, night porter and ukulele player a. o. But there’s one thing he’s been doing for ages – and that’s singing. At the end of 2016, he completed an old idea – his first „solo album“. Roughly half of the roots rock colored songs were written together with Stefan Kletetzka (DEEP RIVER), some were brand new while a couple dated back to Kent and Stefan’s time in ONE BAR TOWN. Four covers were added, one by JOHN HARTFORD and another three originally written by GLEN CAMPBELL, EDDIE & THE HOT RODS and C.V. JØRGENSEN featuring Kent solo on the ukulele. Three more songs, drenched in Mod and 60s sounds, were written together with Helge Reich (JAM TODAY).  The album also includes guest appearances from George Whitfield (FIDDLEBOX, ex-PRESSGANG) and Martin Wenk (CALEXICO, NADA SURF, JUDITH HOLOFERNES).

The following tour took Kent through: Germany, Switzerland, England, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. Incl. festivals such as: Rebellion Blackpool (three years in a row), Kirstyfest 2017 (UK), Thinking Pink Festival (UK), Punk Rock BBQ (UK), Rebellion Amsterdam (NL), Nostalgurato Fest (DK, twice) and the Winterswijk Ukulele Hotspot (NL), just to name a few. More countries are being planned for 2019.

„Between the HOT RODS and CALEXICO." (Chris Elstrodt, Folker Magazine)

Out in November, his autobiographical memoir: 'How I didn't turn out a dancer' (A co-production between the German Ventil Publishing House and Ox-Fanzine, ISBN 978-3-95575-103-6).

Hello Maria!  Nashville based soul/blues artist passing through this summer and would love to come perform for you and your friends!  In fact, I believe I'm literally passing right through your area en route to Austria a couple different times.  Please check out my info below and let's chat about booking a show!

"Her on-stage ability to control the room is evident by her captive audience. It’s one thing to be a songwriter and another to be a performer. Heidi Burson is both.  Led by Burson's commanding and soulful voice - one with a range that rivals Jill Scott and Adele...The sound is massive; a rich musicality practically oozes off the record.- Kevin Carr with Behind The Set List.

Whenever You're Around- Official Video

Burson's stellar vocals, fantastic piano playing and soul based songwriting is deeply inspired by her love and respect for the great soul artists that have come before her such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James and many more.

"Totally new to us, Burson’s range is something that we will be arriving early to see in person. The deep and somewhat sultry tone that she produces will surely silence most any room that she is performing in. "  No Country for New Nashville Magazine

Hello from Ireland Maria,

I am new to the house concert scene and would love to perform a house concert in the Switzerland the spring/summer 2018. I am a musician & and music therapist from Ireland and through my experiences of travel, education in both ethnomusicology and music therapy my music covers a lot of genres such as reggae, folk and Khoomi (Mongolian throat singing). My live shows incorporate techniques of mindfullness and self-inquiry which can develop a dialogue between myself and the audience related to the human condition, shamanism, music and healing and the relationship between music, self awareness and self- discovery.

Congratulations on being featured last year by The House Concert Hub. I'm touring Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria and Northern Italy in late February. We'll be traveling from in your region on March 13 after two shows in Austria and Germany on the way to Northern Italy. It would be wonderful to a a Sunday Pillow Concert on the 13th of March 2016.  I've been featured many times on Swiss radio many times--including just last week. Please contact me if you think this would be possible. I blend, country, folk, Tex-Mex, Western Swing that I believe you and your guests would enjoy. I'm riding a big high now as I just learned that Alan Jackson has recorded and released on my my Tex-Mex songs, "Seguro Que Hell Yes" previously recorded by Flaco Jimenez and Raul Malo. Please let me know what you think. --jam

Hello Maria!

I'm Joanna Weston, an English singer-songwriter originally from London, now living in The Netherlands. I would love the chance to travel Europe in 2016 and meet many new people and perform my original contemporary folk style songs either solo or with other band members.

In 2014 I released my debut studio album ‘INSIDE OUT’ which is a collection of 'feel good' songs you’ll want to hear time and time again:

https://joannaweston.bandcamp.com/album/inside-out

.. and here is a video link to 'Amy' taken from my earlier EP 'Pieces of the Puzzle', which tells the story of life long friendship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OInbbsv9CY

I hope you enjoy listening and I look forward to hearing from you about all the possibilities.

Best wishes,
