Hi Sam,
My name is Stuart Markus, and I am with an Americana/Roots harmony trio from New York called Gathering Time. Our latest CD, Keepsake, was #1 on Folk DJ-List (the international folk radio chart) in March 2016 with the #1 song and 5 other songs in the top 25, making us the #1 artist for the month also; we came in at #4 for the year.
Since 2012, we have often toured in partnership with an the roots/Americana singer Mara Levine. Her CD Jewels and Harmony was #1 for January 2013 and #3 for that year on the international Folk DJ chart. Typically, we do a set of our own songs as well as backing Mara on hers.
We have been booked together to play a music festival in Ehingen, Germany (near Stuttgart) on Saturday, April 14, 2018, and we're hoping to book a tour in Europe to run from around Saturday, April 7th to Sunday the 15th of next year.
The best way to describe Gathering Time is as a co-ed Crosby, Stills & Nash, with a bit of the Byrds and a jot of Joni Mitchell. Mara Levine is best known as an arranger and interpreter of American traditional songs and those by songwriters of the '60s like Tim Hardin, Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon, as well as contemporary ones.
It is worth noting that we are capable of doing either shows of mostly original songs (or in Mara’s case songs by modern songwriters) OR specialty tribute theme shows entirely of '60s American folk and folk-rock. (Information on those is listed at the 'specialty shows' page of our website. Whichever a venue prefers, we're happy to do.
Full bios, photos, music and videos of Gathering Time are available at www.gathering-time.com, www.youtube.com/gatheringtimetrio and
www.soundcloud.com/gatheringtime; information on Mara (and her music) are available at www.maralevine.com.

Hello Sam!

I'm Joanna Weston, an English singer-songwriter originally from London, now living in The Netherlands. I would love the chance to travel Europe in 2016 and meet many new people and perform my original contemporary folk style songs either solo or with other band members.

In 2014 I released my debut studio album ‘INSIDE OUT’ which is a collection of 'feel good' songs you’ll want to hear time and time again:

.. and here is a video link to 'Amy' taken from my earlier EP 'Pieces of the Puzzle', which tells the story of life long friendship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OInbbsv9CY

I hope you enjoy listening and I look forward to hearing from you about all the possibilities.

Best wishes,

Hello Sam,

My name is Paul Hogeterp and I am a musician/songwriter from Hamilton, Canada.  In November 2014, I released my debut solo record under the moniker Low Country Hill.  The self-titled record was produced by Dave King at his lovely Barn Window Studio on the outskirts of Hamilton.  I am pleased that Pat Sansone from Wilco and Bill Dillon (Joni Mitchell, Robbie Robertson, Peter Gabriel) lent their playing and artistry to the record.  Recently, Low Country Hill received a 2015 Hamilton Music Awards nomination in the Roots/solo category and was a Hamilton regional finalist in CBC Searchlight 2015.

I've been playing solo shows (and occasional full band performances) in central Canada throughout 2015 and hope to tour The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in late February/early March 2016.  I've very much enjoyed playing house concerts and intimate venues in Canada and would love to make those settings the primary focus of a tour in Europe.

Please check the links below to find out more about Low Country Hill:

Thanks for your time, Sam.  Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kindly,
Paul

Dear Sam,

Hi, my name is Stefan van de Sande (NL).

Next year I tour with my "Sky Visions Tour 2014" across Europe.

I will be in April in Germany and Scandinavia. But other dates and periodes are also available. This month, Nov.7th I play at Troubadour Modern Minstrels, perhaps you would like to come and see me?

Info about me is here: http://www.stefanvandesande.nl/

I hope can write me something back? Ofcourse I have seen that your line up is almost full for this spring, but april is not yet filled in, so perhaps I could play in April in Sofa Salon? But later in 2014/2015 is ofcourse also an option.

Best Regards, Stefan.

Hi Sam,

I was wondering if I could get a moment if your time to listen to something?
It's the title track from Terry Emm's new album. I am booking shows for Terry in 2014 and thought he might suit the music events you put on.

Terry's music has recently had airplay from legendary DJ Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. Bob described Terry's music as 'excellent, excellent music' and has had him in for a live session. BBC 6 Music DJs Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins and Tom Robinson have also spun his tracks regularly alongside many regional stations. Terry has recently shared the stage with the likes of; Amy Wadge, Richard Walters, Danny & The Champs, Jackie Leven, Judith Owen, Red Dirt Skinners and many others.
MOJO magazine have described his music as 'pastoral, romantic and lit musically by summer rays…no routine singer- songwriter offering but some-thing totally engaging in melody and lyric' in a 4 star review.
It'd be interesting to see what you think to his music and great if you could consider him for a show.
Thanks very much,
Theo Hall

Hello, and greetings from far-off north central Texas. In 11 months - yes, 11 months - I will be making my second trip to The Netherlands. Arriving in Amsterdam on 16 May, I have a house concert in The Hague on the 17th. After that, during the week of the 26th-31st, I will be in the Groningen area (Groningen, Winschoten, Nieuweschans). As you can see, at the moment there is a bit of a gap in the schedule. If it is possible to work in a date during that gap, I would be most grateful. There is also a vast emptiness in the schedule after the week of the 26th-31st, so . . . My page here on the Euro House Concert & Acoustic Music Club Hub will tell you a bit more about me, there are also some videos and songs there. My two most recent CDs - "Apple (Songs for Dave)" and "Dreams Can Cost You Everything" may be heard for free and in their entirety at https://www.soundcloud.com/bopadubill. From time to time, a few other songs - demos, new tracks, things from the archives - are also posted there. Thank you for your time, Bill Parker

Hi Sam

I am looking for shows in very early September 2013 for USA/California-based acoustic finger-style guitar player Brian Gore (see http://guitarpoet.com), the 'guitar poet'.
We needs shows in early September ...

SEPTEMBER 2013
Sun  1 to Fri  6   available
Sat 7 and Sun 8 London Acoustic Guitar Show (Olympia) tbc

Brian will be in Germany doing some work with the great guitarist Lulo Reinhardt (grand-nephew of Django) in late August.  Brian is a fluent German speaker and can easily give a full concert or a workshop or masterclass entirely in German.  He could also do this in Spanish, although perhaps a little less fluently.
Brian has a good track record over here since he's also the brains behind the annual touring guitar festival called the International Guitar Night, which Stoneyport has worked for in the UK since 2007.  See http://www.internationalguitarnight.com/.  Brian got IGN going in the USA in 1995 and since 2000 it has become a major North American touring event.

You can hear some of Brian's work at http://uk.myspace.com/guitaristbriangore/music/albums/path-of-least...).

I hope to hear from you soon
