Hello ben, I am a USA/NC-based singer songwriter who just recorded my third record with G-award winning producer/drummer John Hampton in Memphis TN. It would be wonderful to come and play for you solo acoustic style this summer! With that in mind may I invite you to check me out at http://www.reverbnation.com/danielsage - happy to make bookings way in advance, anytime after July 11th works.
Hi there, I am a UK-based singer songwriter who will be releasing his third album later this year. It would be great to come and play for you (either solo or with my small acoustic band) and with that in mind may I invite you to check me out at www.stevewinch.co.uk - happy to make bookings way in advance!!
It's the title track from Terry Emm's new album. I am booking shows for Terry in 2014 and thought he might suit the music events you put on.
Terry's music has recently had airplay from legendary DJ Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. Bob described Terry's music as 'excellent, excellent music' and has had him in for a live session. BBC 6 Music DJs Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins and Tom Robinson have also spun his tracks regularly alongside many regional stations. Terry has recently shared the stage with the likes of; Amy Wadge, Richard Walters, Danny & The Champs, Jackie Leven, Judith Owen, Red Dirt Skinners and many others.
MOJO magazine have described his music as 'pastoral, romantic and lit musically by summer rays…no routine singer- songwriter offering but some-thing totally engaging in melody and lyric' in a 4 star review.
It'd be interesting to see what you think to his music and great if you could consider him for a show.
I am looking for gigs for the very well known Scottish singer and songwriter Rab Noakes (www.go2neon.com/rab-noakes.htm) through the remainder of 2013 and right through 2014.
Rab has been described as one " ...one of Scotland's great songsmiths" (Herald). That's really quite an observation when you think of the large number of great writers to have come out of Scotland over the past 40 years or so.
This is Rab's entry in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme for his solo show at this year's Acoustic Music Centre @ St Bride's ...
'You might have been forgiven for imagining that there was a portrait in Rab Noakes's attic, because the bloke who arrived on stage here was supposed to be in his sixties. Looking and sounding about half that age, he embarked on a thoroughly engaging journey through 40 years of songwriting. All told, this was a thoroughly enjoyable evening from one of Scotland's great songsmiths". (Stuart Morrison, Herald 2012). After his great success at AMC @ St Bride's in 2012 Rab makes a keenly anticipated return solo appearance to the Fringe. One night only - don't miss it!
For a video of Rab's showstopping performance of Bob Dylan's "Mississippi", see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ_pUSVbs0c (from Gerry Rafferty tribute concert, Celtic Connections Festival 2012, which Rab curated). This video is just one amongst the many of Rab to be found on YouTube.

Brian will be in Germany doing some work with the great guitarist Lulo Reinhardt (grand-nephew of Django) in late August. Brian is a fluent German speaker and can easily give a full concert or a workshop or masterclass entirely in German. He could also do this in Spanish, although perhaps a little less fluently.
Brian has a good track record over here since he's also the brains behind the annual touring guitar festival called the International Guitar Night, which Stoneyport has worked for in the UK since 2007. See http://www.internationalguitarnight.com/. Brian got IGN going in the USA in 1995 and since 2000 it has become a major North American touring event.
I represent two US-based singer/songwriters for whom I am searching for gigs in the UK in September and October 2013.
First there is Lizanne Knott. Here are a couple of comments about her ... "Absolutely gorgeous music. We've rarely had as big a reaction to any artist in recent years as the one we had for Lizanne Knott." (Bob Harris: BBC Radio 2)
"Lizanne Knott is one of an increasing number of singer-songwriters that deserve to be household names." (Mik Gaffney - Properganda #6, Proper Records UK)
I toured Lizanne in the UK for the first time in September-October 2012 and she was very well received indeed. She has the unusual accolade of sellng at least one CD to every member of her audience at the Liverpool Philharmonic gig - I've never heard of that happening before; most unusual. BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris continues to be a big fan and plugs her recordings frquently.
Lizanne's tour dates are currently ...
SEPTEMBER 2013 Thu 26 Sep 13 Bury Met Arts Fri 27 Sep 13 Liverpool Sat 28 Sep 13 Dolgellau Sun 29 to Tue 1 available
OCTOBER 2013 Tue 1 to Thu 3 available Fri 4 Torphicen Bill Lothian Sat 5 Cromarty, The Old Brewery Sun 6 Kinross David Mundell Mon 7 available Tue 8 Glasgow Star FC Wed 9 to 16 available Thu 17 Swindon AC
Lizanne will be travelling with her partner Glenn Barrett (guitar). Would you be able to host a concert for Lizanne during this tour?
Please do tell me to send you a copy of her new CD, "Standing In The English Rain".
Jim has been writing songs for moons it seems - since the late 1960s, so he's been around a bit.
He released his first vinyl album of original music “A Shot Of The Usual,” in 1975, followed quickly by two more before he arrived in the UK in 1977 to live and tour for the next six years. Christy Moore popularised some of Jim's songs, most notably "Hiroshina-Nagasaki Russian Roulette". In 2007 Jim was included in an all star list of the “50 Most Influential Musicians In Seattle History.” Back in the USA now for about 30 years he's had a hankering to tred the UK boards again and is touring here throughout October 2013.
OCTOBER 2013 Tue 1 to Fri 4 available Sat 5 Belper Sun 6 London Walthamstow Mon 7 to Thu 10 available Fri 11 Trowbridge (Wilts) Village Pump Sat 12 and Sun 13 available Mon 14 Stirling FC Tue 15 to Sun 20 available Mon 21 to Sun 27 Irish dates
Would you be able to host a concert for Jim during this tour?
