About Me
The band have gone from strength to strength in the past few years, having played numerous festivals all around the UK such as Cambridge Folk, Boomtown Fair, Bestival and more.

Their second release 'Cosmic Country Blue' on Aveline Records in 2016 garnered positive reviews and live shows with the likes of The Stray Birds, The Magic Numbers and Danny and The Champions of the World have earned them a reputation as one of the most entertaining and high-octane acts on the Folk/Americana scene right now.

With a new album on the horizon produced by 'The Magic Numbers' frontman Romeo Stodart and dates in Europe already confirmed for next year, 'The Goat Roper Rodeo Band' would love to be considered for a house concert in 2018

"Amazing" - (Whispering Bob Harris BBC Radio 2)

“Wonderfully executed acoustic country blues with two guitars, a double bass and plaintive striking harmonies, a musical landscape driven by old timey sensibilities …there’s a lot to like about the Goat Roper Rodeo Band.” (R2 Magazine)

Many thanks for your time,

Jim
